Arriving in Botswana

Botswana has been the most consistently free economy in Africa as measured by the Canadian Fraser Institute and is one of the world’s great economic success stories.


Canadians, South Africans and most SADC nationals do not require a visa for Botswana, as part of over 100 countries which do not require visas.

On arrival, going through customs is efficient.


Multiple taxi options exist at the airport to get you to your hotels and the conference venue.
Taxis can be easily identified by their blue number plates and hotels will gladly assist arranging one in advance. Some hotels have shuttles you can book in advance too.
